Payment
Jewellery Edition uses the Protx payment system to
ensure that the data and information of its customers is secure.We accept payment via
Pay Pal and all major credit and debit cards through our secure website. We accept cheques for the amount of the items
purchased, plus delivery costs where applicable. Cheques will need
to clear before any products are dispatched to you. Payments though Protx will be debited until your order is being dispatched.
PayPal
With PayPal, you can shop online securely and conveniently using your debit or
credit card, bank account or PayPal balance – all without sharing your
financial details with the seller. It’s also an easy way to receive payments
online from the sender’s card or bank account, in the UK or abroad. It is free
to send money by Pay Pal. If you wish to sign up for an account go to www.paypal.co.uk
- you don’t have to set up an account in order to send money by Pay Pal.
Protx
Protx provides safe online credit and debit card payment solutions for
thousands of online and mail order businesses across the UK. Protx has
achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data
Security Standards (PCI). They adhere to the most stringent levels of
fraud screening, ensuring that customer details remain secure throughout the
transaction process. Jewellery Edition uses the Protx payment system to
ensure that the data and information of its customers is secure.
Placing an order
Ordering
Once you have completed an online purchase, we will send you an email
confirming the order details and our acceptance of your order. At that point a
binding agreement exists between, Governed by these terms and conditions. We
will take payment for your order when your item is despatched by us (protx)
except when paying by cheques where goods will not be despatched until cheques
are cleared. Whilst we are under no obligation to accept your order, we would
normally do so where (i) the product is available, (ii) the order reflects
current pricing and (iii) your credit card/debit card payment is approved by
your credit card/debit card company. You can also call us on 0845
643 4056 to place an order over the phone. If a product is unavailable when we
come to despatch your order, we will contact you either by phone or email (see
returns, cancellations, refunds).
When will my order arrive?
Orders received through Jewellery Edition are processed and dispatched within 2
to 4 working days of receiving the order. Therefore, depending on stock
availability, your products will usually arrive within a few days of your
order. Please note that some products made to order or special ring sizes may
have an extended delivery time. If that is the case you will be contacted
personally to advise you and confirm the best delivery date and time. If a
product is out of stock we will inform you by email and see if you wish to
order an alternative. If you do not wish to order an alternative, we will
refund your money in full.
Sending items by courier or post
For items over £30 we use standard Royal Mail Special Delivery, however, some
will be delivered by courier. If no one will be able to sign for the goods at
your contact address you may wish to send the goods to an alternative – please
ensure you let us know on your order form.
Sending items to an alternative address
If we send your purchase by courier we may need an alternative address i.e.
work, as the package will need to be signed for. Also, if you don’t want
someone to see the present, let us know and we will send it to an alternative
address if you wish – this request must come from the same email the order was
placed through.
Delivery Address
All deliveries will be made to you at the addresses specified by you in the
order. We may, at our discretion and expense, deliver parts of your order
separately. If we cannot deliver the products to you at the address you have
specified for any reason (other than when we are at fault), we will notify you
and store the products. If you wish us to redeliver the products to you, you
will need to authorise us to charge your credit card/debit card for such
re-delivery. If we do not hear from you within 28 days, we will cancel the
order and refund your payment to you less any reasonable delivery charges we
have incurred.
A signature will be required to receive the order and you will be responsible
for the products as soon as they are delivered. Ownership and responsibility
for the products shall pass to you once this signature has been received. If
you decide to have your order delivered to a different address than your own, a
signature will still be required and the general conditions of delivery will
remain unchanged.
Availability
All products and/or services displayed on this website are subject to
availability. Prices of products may change from time to time. We
confirm receipt of your order & price at the time your order is
placed, via an email, this does not guarantee availability of this
product. If a product is unavailable when we come to despatch your
order, we will contact you either by phone or email (see returns,
cancellations, refunds).
Price
All orders will debited the published price for the product for that day.
In the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed by email and asked
if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding.
